NEW TRAINING! Conducting Child Abuse Investigations for CPS and LE
Learn the specialized knowledge and skills essential for conducting comprehensive, effective, and coordinated responses in child sexual abuse investigations. This three-day training focuses on developing specific skills in law enforcement and child protective service investigators, and forensic interviewers who work within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) environment.
Utilizing actual case studies and performance-driven training, participants will learn how to conduct witness interviews, interrogation of alleged offenders, the benefits of a multidisciplinary team (MDT) approach, how to recognize and manage bias, children’s abilities to date and time events, how the disclosure process affects a child’s willingness to report maltreatment, along with other issues involved in the investigation of child sexual abuse cases.
