Cathey Huddleston-Casas
Catherine Huddleston-Casas, Ph.D., is the Assistant Director of Growth and Development for the Nebraska Alliance of Child Advocacy Centers. In this role, Cathey is responsible for developing and implementing growth and development plans designed to contribute to the statewide success of the CAC model.
Cathey is a graduate of the University of Illinois where she received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and her master’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies and the University of Minnesota where she received her doctorate degree in Family Social Science. With over 25 years of experience, Cathey brings a deep understanding of the interdependence of policy systems and child and family well-being to her work.
Prior to joining the Nebraska Alliance, Cathey worked for the University of Nebraska as a faculty member in Child, Youth, and Family Studies (2001-2014) and as a leader in workforce development at the Buffett Early Childhood Institute (2015-2024).
