Elizabeth Alt
Elizabeth Alt, MA, MPhil, is the new Programming and Engagement Coordinator for the Nebraska Alliance. In this role, Elizabeth is responsible for coordinating outreach, programming, and organizing training for MDTs, medical programs, and forensic interview programs for the Child Advocacy Centers (CACs) throughout Nebraska to aid with maintaining national accreditation.
Prior to joining the Nebraska Alliance, Elizabeth was an MDT Coordinator at Project Harmony where she was one of the Impact from Infancy Coordinators. In this role, she brought awareness to how trauma affects children under 5 and the early interventions that can be put in place to mitigate the effects of trauma. Prior to entering the child welfare field, she served in the United States Air Force in communications. She holds a master’s degree in Human Service Counseling and Family Advocacy and a master’s degree in Public Policy and Administration. She enjoys spending time with her husband, volunteering at her church, and swing dancing.
